A surreal story about the god of the city.

You play as Urbs, the god of the city, who is given the quest to find someone fitting a certain description: It must be a human being whose body lives in the present, but whose soul is already in the future. Someone empathetic and ready for big changes. However, the quest turns out to be a harbinger of great danger.

A visual novel written and coded by Michal Nowakowski and illustrated by Midjourney AI.

This game is in the early stages of development. In future updates, I will add next chapters and enhance the existing ones with new dialogue options. It is the first game I've ever published, so please be gentle.

Will the game release for other platforms? In the example: Steam, Google Play Store and Apple Store?

Yes, but in 2023. I want to do some more content first - correct errors, improve dialogues, do more chapters. There will be a version 0.2 in November, then 0.3 in December.

I like the story and the atmosphere so far. The MidJourney look works pretty well too. A lot of Sandman vibes to it. But, the dialog writing is not very good, pretty cringey at times even. That's of course a tough one to get right.

Now it's clear to me that I did version 0.1 in a hurry, because I was too impatient and wanted something to appear online. I am working on version 0.2 at a reasonable pace. I corrected a lot of grammatical errors, rewrote a lot of badly written fragments and revised dialogues by reading them aloud to myself. Now I am creating new chapters.
